I reply within 24 to 48 hours, and I'll tell you honestly if the date has already gone rather than leaving you waiting. I'm Tom Carter, I'm based in Leyland and I photograph weddings across Lancashire — full day £1,063, half day £623, all edited images included.

The most useful things to include are your wedding date, your venue and roughly what time the ceremony starts. That's enough for me to check the diary and give you a proper answer instead of a holding email. What happens after you enquire

1. Your enquiry lands with me. Form, email, text or WhatsApp — it all reaches the same inbox, and nothing gets passed to a sales team, because there isn't one.
2. I check the date. I look at the diary and reply within 24 to 48 hours with a straight yes or no on availability, plus pricing for the coverage you're after.
3. We talk properly. A phone call, a video chat or a coffee somewhere between Leyland and your venue, whichever suits. This is where you ask the awkward questions.
4. You book. Your date is held with a deposit and a signed agreement. Until that's done the date stays open to anyone else who asks.
5. We keep planning. Unlimited pre-wedding chats between booking and the day: timings, family group lists, the bits you're worried about, a wet-weather plan.
6. The day itself. I arrive early, work quietly, and photograph what actually happens rather than staging it.
7. Your gallery arrives. A sneak peek soon after, then every edited photograph within six weeks, yours to print and share. Booked couples get 15% off prints, albums and wall art.
